Tanggal 25 kemarin, seorang selebritis kembali berpulang. Ya, Michael Jackson "The King of Pop" pada masanya. Cukup kaget juga mendengar kabar itu. Soalnya waktu aku kecil (kalo gag salah jaman TK/SD lah) aku suka sama lagu-lagunya, walaupun masih belum ngerti artinya dan sempet punya satu album yang ‘Dangerous‘.
Terlepas dari segala berita negatif yang mengelilinginya, sebenarnya Jacko perduli banget sama masalah-masalah sosial. Hal ini terlihat jelas dari lirik-lirik lagunya. seperti :

yang menunjukkan keperduliannya pada isu-isu lingkungan, Rasisme, kemiskinan, malnutrisi, Tuna wisma, HIV/AIDS, jauh sebelum semua orang di dunia menggembar-gemborkan isu lingkungan hidup, diskriminasi dan teman-temannya.
Dunia juga tak mengingkari pengaruhnya yang begitu besar pada perkembangan dunia musik, seperti pengakuan beberapa musisi seperti Kanye West, Usher, Justin Timberlake, dan Chris Brown yang ter-influence oleh aksi King of Pop ini dalam beberapa aksi panggungnya.
Tapi semua itu (semua lagu yang saya sebutkan tadi ada dalam album ke-8 Jacko, ‘Dangerous’ yang dirilis tahun 1991) seolah menguap begitu saja semenjak adanya isu perceraiannya dengan Princess of Rock n Roll, Lisa Marie Presley dan isu child sexual abuse yang dilakukannya, atau bahkan berita miring tentang kulitnya yang memucat semenjak medio 1980-an.
Mengutip kalimat seorang kawan saya yang juga seorang penulis, "Hidup tak melulu tumbuh dari kebaikan, tapi juga dari najis dan dosa". Mungkin teman-teman semua memiliki intrepretasi yang berbeda setelah membaca kalimat tersebut. Tapi memang begitulah hidup, yang hitam bisa disebut hitam karena adanya putih, dan begitu pula sebaliknya. Namun, kadang yang diingat orang hanya noda hitam di atas kertas putih.
